There was great news for fans of comedy shows that involve both cookery and innovative use of new digital technologies won Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival.
The show is a marvel of audience interaction and engineering, allowing to audience to compete against each other in a race through a maze made up of binary numbers, using only their phones. Foxdog Studios – comprising IT consultants and musicians Lloyd Henning and Peter Sutton – then use the computer programming skills from their day jobs to create a delicious meal using only robotic technology. And some audience help.
Not only is it full of tech wizardry, the deadpan performances of Lloyd and Peter ensure this show delivers laughs as well as wonder.
Sadly it doesn’t look as if they have any upcoming dates in Cambridge but a fun alternative might be Wifi Wars (Cambridge Junction, Apr 14), which also lets the audience take control of the show in fun technological ways.
